Hoopla Toss

Game Rules

Player receives three rings and tries to throw them around stuffed animals mounted on poles on blocks. Younger children must place the ring around the pole to win, while older children must throw the ring completely over the stuffed animal and around the base of the block.

Game Description

The game board is 48″ long and 18″ wide, mad of 3/4″ plywood.
Five wooden blocks (3.5″ x 3.5″) are mounted on the base, and these are 2″ high. The blocks are cut from a 2 x 4.
Each block has a 5/8″ hole drilled (1″ deep) to accommodate the wooden dowels used as poles.
The wooden dowels are 9.25″ long and are 3/4″ in diameter.
You may choose any stuffed animals you like, as long as they are not too tall or wide. About six inches tall is adequate. The stuffed animals are held in place with rubber bands.
A handle is attached to the game board for easy transport.
The rings (hoopla’s) may be obtained from a craft store or a carnival supply company. These may be made of either rubber, plastic or wood.

Carnival Games

Hey Jack, Thanks so much.

My 7 year old daughter just climbed on my lap and we watched some of your videos together.

There are some games I know I could do in time for my son's birthday.

Love it!
