Player has two chances to roll a little car down a ramp and into the target. The player pushes his car down the ramp, and if it goes through the target opening, they are declared a winner.
This game consists of a box with a ramp and a target, along with a metal car. It may be themed any way you like, such as a racing or NASCAR theme. This is one of our top 5 games, in terms of popularity.
The base of this game is 3/4″ plywood, and measures 60″ long and 16″ wide.
The sides are each made from two pine boards, with the front one (the ramp side) measuring 17″ long and 5.25″ high. The second pine board measures 43.5″ long and 4.75″ high.
The front board is also pine, and measures 16″ long and 5.25″ high.
The back board is also pine, and measures 16″ long and 4.75″ high.
The ramp is made of 1/2″ plywood, and measures 15.5″ x 15.5″. The ramp is attached with a 15.75″ piano hinge. The edge of the ramp at the bottom is cut at an slight angle, to
enable the toy car to go faster. The toy metal cars used in this game may be stored under the ramp.
The target is made of 3/4″ plywood, and measures 15.75″ long and 9.5″ high. The target opening measures 4″ x 4″. It is attached with two 6″ long piano hinges. This makes it much easier to transport and store.
The toy metal cars we have used are usually Hot Wheels or Matchbox. They’re inexpensive, and come in a wide variety of models.
